Seneca Hawk's music spread through Los Angeles with shows at the Troubadour and Spaceland and live on-air performances on  KXLU 88.9FM, continuing across the country with a successful national tour. Following their return, the band began recording their debut album, Sun Year Long, with producer Adam Lasus, the indie rock guru behind Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's monstrous debut and acclaimed albums with Army Navy and Yo La Tengo. For their premier album, Lasus brilliantly captures the trio's best work onto analog tape. The finished product is built around first takes and live performances accented with Sunset Strip rock, California country, and 80's pop rock that gives rock and roll a surprisingly complex voice in modern pop world.
